  • Job bank of the Canada Human Resources Development (CHRD) and Emploi-Québec (Employment-Québec) (Internet sites)
  • Local, regional and Ontario job offers;
  • Directory of employers of the Pontiac, Pembroke, Renfrew, Arnprior;
  • Reference manuals to prepare your Résumé, your letter of presentation, and to prepare for your interview, etc.

 

Studies

  • Professional, college-level and technical-training programmes offered in Québec;
  • Courses and study programmes offered in the Pontiac and in the Outaouais;
  • Financial assistance programmes for education;
  • Teaching establishments;
  • Trades and professions;
  • Directories of several colleges and universities;
  • Adult/choice, database of courses given everywhere in Canada, in all trades and professions;

The computer lab is equipped with:

  • Four (4) computers;
  • Adult-choice computer programme, database of courses given everywhere in Canada, in all trades and professions;
  • Microsoft Word computer programme (word processing).

Although you may use the computer lab at all times during opening hours, it is preferable to reserve your computer in advance.

 

Availability of personnel

Salle de documentationIf your search requires assistance, an individual is available at all times. Furthermore, for the uninitiated, basic training on internet is possible. You need only ask!

 However, if you wish precise information on a study programme or a profession, on the directory of businesses, you must make an appointment with a job counsellor, or the orientation or placement counsellor.

Business hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday : 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
