Have you considered part-time, temporary or contract work? The main reason for taking these jobs is money. It is also a way to gain worthwhile experience and new skills. Sometimes, it’s a good way to get your foot in the door. If a full-time job comes up, you are right there.

  • Part-time employment: Work that involves a few hours a week.
  • Temporary employment: Work which is full-time, but is not permanent.
  • Contract employment: An agreement or arrangement to perform certain duties for a fee that you would negotiate.

It’s important to keep in mind there are no tight or wrong ansers when you are examining your options and trying to decide which route to follow. After gathering alle the necessary information and wighing the advantages and disadvantages of each possibility, the most that anyone can hope for is making an informed choice.
