COMPOSING YOUR RÉSUMÉ ACCORDING TO YOUR "SKILLS"

When you write a resume that shows off your skills and your personal abilities, you are being more convincing regarding the link that may exist between :

the requirements of a specific job
AND
what you are able to offer

This kind of resume demonstrate more clearly that you have the abilities the employers are looking for!

  • A skill is more than a simple task
  • A skill includes different tasks you are familiar with
  • Being competent means that you have the aptitudes and the capacities to accomplish these tasks effectively
  • When you are competent in a specific field, you can also be competent another area

When you are putting your résumé up to date, it can be very beneficial for you to show off your skills instead of just enumerating the tasks you have accomplished in your previous jobs. Ex :
