Orientation

Do you wish to return to school, upgrade your current skills or re-enter the labour force? Your wait is finally over! All you have to do is meet with one of our employment counsellors who will help you to clarify your choices, and establish the concrete link between your aptitudes, your interests, your personality traits and the realities of the labour market. By listening and analyzing your personal choices, your employment counsellor can help you choose the best path suitable for you.

Objectives

In order to allow you to identify a trade or profession that best fits your profile, the employment counsellor will help you to establish your priorities, to better know yourself, provide you with school and professional information and to inform you about the labour market.

Suggested means

    • Individual meeting to analyse your personal, school and professional situation
    • Exploration of aptitudes, interests, personality traits with the help of questionnaires
    • Information on educational programs
    • Information on various financial assistance programs
    • Information on training establishments
    • Information on trades and professions
    • Information on prospects and perspectives for the future
    • Adult-Choice, database of courses given everywhere in Canada, in all trades and professions
    • Action plan
    • Follow-up

Approximate duration: 2 to 4 meetings (according to needs)
