Our job placement service is aimed at job seekers who live in the Pontiac, or for those who want to work in the Pontiac region.
In order for your name to be put in the job placement service you must meet with an employment counsellor. Your employment counsellor will help you write and correct your resume, determine what type of work interests you and will also contact your previous employers to verify your references.
When the placement counsellor receives job offers from employers, and there’s one that matches your interests, they will communicate with you in order to give you the details regarding the position (e.g. Employer, place of employment, job description, salary, schedule, etc…) if you are interested in the position, your resume and profile will be forwarded to the employer.
